Centre Solaris is a non-profit charitable organization that was formed in 2006 by a group of volunteers from Montreal. The organization has undergone several transformations since its inception and, currently, is offering a wide spectrum of services to the low-income and the unemployed living the Island of Montreal.
The organization tackles the most burning issues of our society, which includes very low level of healthy and active lifestyles among under-privileged children from low-income families, food baskets to the most disadvantaged, job search assistance, self-employment guidance, affordable residence options and activity programs for senior citizens.
We have a pool of volunteers that regularly contribute their knowledge, time, and experience towards achieving our goals. We also work in close collaboration with other non-profit organizations and businesses in joint projects or to complement each others’ services.
